In commomeration with Prof.V.Shanmugasundaram memorial day, the MUTA flag was hoisted in front of MUTA offices at Madurai, Tirunelveli and Nagercoil  and the MUTA Website was inaugurated.
Prof.V.S. Memorial Lectures on Foreign Education Institutions (Regulation of Entry And Operations) Bill  and National Commisssion for Higher Education and Research (NCHER) bill were arranged.
   At Madurai, Prof.Joseph Panneerselvam, Retired member of MUTA unit, N.M.S.S.Vellaichamy Nadar College hoisted the MUTA flag.
Prof.T.Manohara Justus, Treasurer-MUTA inaugurated the MUTA website and delivered the V.S. Memorial Lecture on the National Commission for Higher Education and Research (NCHER) Bill.
   At Tirunelveli, Prof. Jesu, Former Zonal President - MUTA hoisted the MUTA flag and inaugurated the MUTA website.
Prof.Vijayakumar, Former Editor - MUTA Bulletin delivered the V.S. Memorial Llecture on the Foreign Education Institutions (Regulation of Entry And Operations) Bill.
   At Nagercoil, Prof.Godwin Wesley, Retired member of MUTA Unit, Scott Christian College hoisted the MUTA flag and Prof.Ponnusamy, Former Vice President - MUTA  inaugurated the MUTA website.
Prof. Ananthakrishnan, President - MUTA delivered the V.S.Memorial Llecture on Foreign Education Institutions (Regulation of Entry And Operations) Bill.
